Let's talk about abundance.
Unless you're a sanyasi, money is not going to walk its way over to you. Most of us have to earn money in conventional forms. There are energies we can tap into that can attract further abundance in the form of money. Here are a few prayers and visualisations that have helped me tremendously.
The first step in manifesting:
Feeling That You Deserve It.
Mother is never away and without limit. If you want to manifest anything, you have to surrender to the fact that you have no control as to how your wants will manifest. To surrender is to pull on the greater consciousness manifesting itself in response to the need you are looking to satisfy.
Most of us have trouble relinquishing such control. This is usually because we are spoiled with our material world and instant gratification. We are confident that we know exactly what we want, and we like to think we know exactly how it should come to us. An unwillingness to surrender comes from an inability to listen deep within, to find what we truly need.
The second step in manifesting:
Prayer
With spiritual practice, you build the energy needed then direct and focus it onto your objective. An analogy that may help explain this need is that if you are praying for rain, you shouldn't stare at the sky but bring an umbrella. Prayer can form your umbrella. The preparatory steps you put into manifesting your abundance.
Mother knows who you are, and exactly what you are asking for. When we reach out to the divine, she responds with no judgement and gives you as you have asked.
The third step in manifesting:
Service.
Every request requires some form of an exchange. You are asking the universe for something to be created, but the energy required to create it cannot come from nowhere. You need to give mentally and make the space for the creation to happen.
Your place in this universe is to make room with what is there at the time and to allow the universe to express itself freely into that space. Service without open-ness is poverty consciousness, isn't it? Feeling that there isn't enough to go around, be it in your time devoted to practice and service or in the abundance that you are looking to manifest. If you feel there is not going to be enough, the universe will struggle to provide it is the perfect listener and mirror.
That is why we must freely serve ourselves on top of service to others.
Cook a meal. Smile.
Do something that you feel will bring joy to you, and things you manifest will speed right up.
